The beer contains purine that is converted by the body to uric acid, which actually causes inflammation. Therefore, you are suffering from joint pain, it is extremely important to avoid beer as it is made with gluten. Moreover, beer contains many toxins which are harmful to your body.

Refined and Artificial Sugars

High amounts of sugar increase the level of AGEs in the body which cause inflammation. Besides that, the sugar also triggers the release of cytokines in the body (the inflammatory agents)

All people are familiar with the fact that sugar is high in calories, so excess consumption of it also causes weight gain, which furthermore causes increased pressure on the joints and pain.

Refined Grains and Flour

These types of food can increase the joint pain as they are pro-inflammatory agents. Namely, refined grains and flour trigger the production of AGEs which are known to cause inflammation.

It is advisable to replace the refined grain products like white pasta, white rice, and white bread with whole-grain, almond or coconut flour. Instead of consuming white rice, you should consume brown rice.

Eggs

Excessive consumption of eggs may cause increased swelling and joint pain. Eggs, especially the yolks contain arachidonic acid which actually causes the production of prostaglandins, which trigger inflammation in your body.

Additionally, eggs are abundant in saturated fat, which are able to increase inflammation and pain. Still, if eggs are your favorite breakfast you should skip the yolks and eat just the egg whites.

Foods containing Monosodium Glutamate

Monosodium glutamate or MSG is food additive that is utilized to enhance the flavor of certain foods as frozen snacks, potato chips, canned and frozen Chinese foods, frozen dinners, soups and store – bought salad dressings.

This additive may cause inflammation and pain in the body. Patients who already suffer from inflammatory conditions as rheumatoid arthritis should avoid this artificial additive due to the fact it can be very harmful to the health.
